ACLS

 

 Course Objectives:

This program has been developed to meet the guidelines of the American Heart Association ACLS.  During this workshop we will:

  • review the major causes of cardiac death
  • describe the modalities for treatment of major life-threatening dysrhythmias
  • review adjuncts for support of circulation and ventilation
  • discuss special techniques to be used in post-resuscitation management.

Prerequisites

Renewal participants must have a ACLS card that is current.

The American Heart Association no longer offers a grace period to instructors or providers, except in the case of serious illness.

Notice: You will be expected to know sequences for both CPR and Foreign Body Removal.

Registration & Fees:

Registration fee includes tuition and course handouts.  Coffee and tea will be provided at registration.  Lunch will be provided.

Textbook is necessary for the course. 
Textbook is available for purchase.

Cancellation Policy: Tuition fees, less a processing fee of $50.00, will be refunded if written notice of cancellation is received in advance.
