An Emergency Room alternative for patients needing to be seen for a minor illness or problem.
Got an earache but no time for an appointment? That’s the beauty of a rural hospital’s ER, we sometimes double as the town clinic. At Skyline, we call it, Convenient Care.
How does it work? Be sure to ask for “convenient care” and we’ll just charge you a flat fee of $70 at the time of service. No insurance billing will be provided. Convenient Care is offered everyday (except holidays) from 8 am until 8 am.(Of course, priority will be given to emergency and trauma patients.)
The $70 payment covers the initial provider assessment and exam room charge. Additional charges will be incurred for any labs, x-rays, pharmacy items, supply items, injections, and physician procedures provided at the visit. These services will be charged to the patient’s account. The patient will receive a statement in the mail.
