Dallesport Station of Skyline Hospital Ambulance provides ambulance service to the Dallesport vicinity, Lyle, Appleton, Klickitat and High Prairie.

The Dallesport station (commissioned in 2003 to improve response times in this large geographic area) also serves to provide back up availability for other ambulance calls. When the White Salmon crew gets called out on an emergency, the Dallesport crew moves up to the hospital to improve coverage overall if a second call occurs.

If a transfer is needed from the emergency department for a medical/trauma patient, the primary crew from White Salmon is available to immediately transfer the patient without delay, and the Dallesport crew then moves up to provide coverage while they are out of the area. Skyline maintains our mutual aid agreement with The Dalles Fire Department to provide coverage for the Dallesport area when the ambulance is not available due to calls and transfer.
